June has been a great month so far, we’ve caught lots of Stripers in the bay and delta. We’ve also had the chance to chase down some Halibut in the SF bay with good success!
I’m back in the west delta this week and Monday and tuesday yeilded great striper action! Yesterday we got on a quick shot of fish in the afternoon on some running pumps that was very exciting!

Sorry haven’t posted much lately…to busy fishing…guess that’s good!Fishing has been fair to good, most days we are putting in 5to15 stripers! The biggest have been a 14, and 15 lber! Lots of keeper size fish though! We’ve been both flycasting and drifting minnows!Out all next week and it just keeps getting better!!Cheers~Capt. R.J.
I haven’t posted in the last couple weeks….sorry….just been busy catching Stripers!We’ve had a few double digit fish, but for the most part fish have been averaging between 18-28″ or 6lb avg size…We’ve been catching fish on the Fly and drifting bait! Today we had limits plus released a nice 14lb hen, we also caught or first fish of the spring on a swimbait!April is booking fast, I’m already excited for May!
Stripers on!! After trying everything in the boat, plugging, casting and trolling we caught a bunch of fish on the FLY!!
Jamie at Creative Sports in Pleasant Hill tied up some new prototype flyies for me, we call them Delta Crack!

Well after a few days of tough striper fishing we’ve shifted gears to sturgeon!
With great rewards the last two trips have yeilded nice diamondbacks!
We’re fishing in the Rio Vista area, all the fish are coming on Ghost shrimp & pile worms!

Water getting up to 55 Degrees this week and sunshine predicted all week!! I looking forward to getting into the bass and maybe some sturgeon this week!
Well we were busy the last week catching stripers and stacking the mallards! Friday we was a tough day of fishing but we ended up scratching out limits of stripers for 3 Anglers! Today, Monday was one of the most productive striper days so far this fall, we boated over 50 Stripers to 11 lbs!
Today was a great day 20+ 6 to 10 lb fish all caught on flies! Af lat calm day with a little high fog! This morning we were surrounded by shotguns as the duck hunters pounded on the mallards we stacked the stripers!!! Thanks to Gary from American Fly for a great day on the water!!
A bit of a rough day on the water, windy! We ended up with around 10 Keeper bass all caught on live bait, we tried flys with only one caught on a clouser….nothing on the rattle traps. Still a great time on the water!
