A tough day on the water? We only boated 1 Legal Striper! We did however catch plenty of undersized fish on topwater action! We also managed a good sized largemouth in topwater!

Today we had an absolute WFO bite on the bass! For three anglers we boated around 40 keeper bass to 10 lbs lotsof 6 to 7 lbers! All came drifting Live bait…..man those minnows are like striper candy! We even had several triple hook ups!!! Fishing again Sunday, off to the marsh to stack the mallards Saturday morning!

Another great day of fishing! We fished all around the Sac River, good fishing at the end of the outgoing and later in the day at the top of the tide. Today we had 20 fish 19 of which were keepers. All of our fish were caught on live minnows today. I hope this weather holds up for the fishing and don’t hope it holds up for the hunting….

Another great and flat calm conditions! Today we had just over twenty fish to 6 lbs! We caught fish on everything we threw at them! We jigged, fly casted, through rattle traps, trolled and drifted bait!
10/22/2007 10/20 Opening Day Hunt Report
Well we had a great opener! Great weather and a fun time! The grand total was 15 Mallards, 2 Pintails, and 1 Gadwall!Looks like lots of local mallards! Can’t wait for next week!

WFO!!!
Striper fishing was about the best I’ve seen it in my life today! I lost count we had fish from 18″ keepers to 14lbs and lots of them…I lost count at 20…from 1 to 3 today we put in at least 20 fish from 8 to 10 lbs!!!! The fish came mostly on flys and swimbaits but I managed to sneak the spoon in for a few fish! We had a great day today and this one will go on the days to remember list! Thanks guys for coming out today and I look forward to seeing the photos!
10/15/2007 10/15 Fishing & Ducks
Today I went out looking for ducks! I saw lots of birds moving as this storm made its way across NORCAL…I went over a spot we fish alot, I noticed lots of fish marking! I had to…went back over with a jumbo minnow….1 in the box….2nd minnow…2 in the box!!! Limit for me in two casts!! WOW!!! I’ve got a trip scheduled for Wednesday and I’m looking forward to seeing lots of hookups!!!

We sturgeon fished last night at the mouth of the Sac! Ended up with 3 shakers and lots of missed opportunities!
Great conditions for sturgeon in the flat calm weather!!

Well on a cold and wet day we stuck to our guns and banged out limits of stripers! We ended up with around 20 bass up to 12 lbs! Toaday fish came on Lucky Craft LV’s, trolling, plugging and drifing Jumbo Minnows! A tough day in the weather but smiles all around as we stacked the bass!

I scouted the North Delta today for the upcoming duck season! Lots of Mallards flying around and using the areas we hunt! It was very exciting I set up the blind and had mallards coming to the call, man I wished it was open season!
